# How do I use Hydrilla assets in Blender?

Export GLB, FBX, or OBJ from Hydrilla and open the mesh in Blender. Hydrilla is not a Blender add-on.

Export GLB, FBX, or OBJ from Hydrilla and import into Blender. Continue retopo, UVs, and lookdev the way you already do. Hydrilla is not a Blender add-on and not a Maya plugin.

## Which format?

GLB keeps a compact PBR setup. FBX is familiar if your studio already uses it. OBJ is the simple fallback. Check scale and up-axis after import.

## Why DCC still matters

Segmentation from BlueFox 1 helps you select parts. It does not replace a modeling supervisor. Use Hydrilla for the block-in; use Blender for the shot.
